Their parking lot, in the back, was really small; only able to fit a few cars at most. However, there were plenty of street parking, so it shouldn't be too much of a drag to find parking. I went around 445 - 5pm and there was a moderate amount of parking.

Got inside, and was greeted by an overwhelming amount of colorful decor, and a very nice waitress. I ordered the Carne asada chile relleno (togo), and man, was that delicious. The Carne asada was pretty tender, a bit on the saltier side, but it was fried with green peppers and onions which provided some balance if eaten together; the rice and beans were good as well. The chili relleno was sooo good. This is my first time ever having chili relleno, and not sure what it is, but I like it. It was soaked in their salsa and had CHEESE in it.

Overall, it was a great experience at this place; food and service were exceptional.

What happened to this place?  I hate to write bad reviews of people that are so nice, but the food use to be so good here. Now it's so bland and ODD.

I ordered the shrimp cocktail.  It was so sweet and bland.  It contained all items to be considered a shrimp cocktail, but it tasted like nothing. Literally nothing.

We also ordered 2 revuelta pupusa.   Those sir ...were NOT pupusas.  They had an odd consistency that im not sure what kind of meat was in there.  And it had a smokey taste of chipotle.  Who puts chipotle seasoning in a pupusa?  Apparently they do.  But it wasn't a good combination.

My husband ordered the menudo.....again, how can a plate taste so bland.  He added onion and cilantro and it still tasted exactly the same.  All I can say is that everything we ate tasted off.  And the wait for this bland food was ridiculous.

We use to come here often, until we moved out of the area.  We came back for a taste of good home cooked meal, and were disappointed beyond words.

I wish them luck, but this place is no longer for us

It has been awhile since I have visited this spot so I'm so glad I finally got the chance to go back. I like this location for many reasons, but I think it's the mix of food, price, and the people that make it such a great place to go.

The restaurant is located on a corner off of San Gabriel Blvd and can easily be missed if you don't pay attention. There is a small lot in the back to park as well. The inside is filled with countless of decorations and fixtures to gaze upon and there is typically plenty of seating to choose from.

The menu is vast and its decently priced. We ordered 4 pupusas (2 cheese and beans, 1 chicken and cheese, and 1 revuelta) all of them were delicious. I also ordered the red chilaqulies. Our food came out quickly and it was delicious. So happy with our meal and can't wait to go back.

I had the menudo and it was just fair tasting. It was mostly meat so the homemade corn tortillas really add to it.  The tortillas are soft and tender. I've been here twice and have not been satisfied.  When I arrived the friendly lady that greets you was mopping the floor with bleach and the other waitress didn't seem to be in a good mood.  They try here but are not professional enough to really do a consistently good job.

Bomb food but beware of ants when sitting next to the plants! Papusas are worth having and the plantains were tasty! Home like atmosphere and inviting/friendly service. First time here and definitely coming back! Very little parking but the area isn't too busy so you're able to find street parking.
